Abstract: | Ventia has been using the Asset Vision Asset and Work Management platform to efficiently and effectively manage road assets for the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), Brisbane Airport, Toowoomba Second Crossing and recently implemented AV on their contract with Port of Brisbane for roads, bridges, open drains and drainage structures, over landscaping, vegetation and boat ramps boat ramps. The Asset Vision platform efficiently enables asset owners, contractors and sub-contractors to be connected and easily handle different aspects of road-related asset maintenance. This ranges from data and defect capture using AI, field inspections to asset inventory, work order management, resource planning and consumption, and maintaining and reporting compliance KPIs. Through a combination of Asset Vision technology we have been able to improve the safety outcomes of the public and our team. In September 2019, Ventia was awarded a contract by the Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) to provide asset management and maintenance services for pavement and roadside assets across over 100 kilometers of the airport’s landside and airside road networks. More recently Ventia was awarded a contract with Port of Brisbane to maintain and manage road corridor infrastructure to ensure the ongoing safety and functionality of the Port network. Both of these contracts are managed using the Asset Vision platform creating efficiencies for Ventia in managing these contracts with the TMR South Coast RAMC. This presentation will discuss the challenges and benefits of implementing a consistent standardised asset information and work order system platform across multiple contracts with different clients whilst improving safety outcomes. |
