Abstract: | The Professional Engineers Act 2002 exists to ‘protect the public by ensuring professional engineering services are provided by a registered professional engineer in a professional and competent way’. This has clear obligations for the individual engineer and the organisations who provide infrastructure to the public. In this presentation Craig will clarify an individual’s pathway to achieving and maintaining RPEQ status, as well as clarify the requirements of individuals and organisations under the Act. |
