Abstract: Continuing from several successful test projects throughout 2020, Interflow is utilising technological advancements in the management of CCTV inspection data. Interflow has leveraged artificial intelligence, automation, and the cloud storage of data to improve the timing, deliverability of results, and repair recommendations for a number of Utilities and Councils in NSW and ACT. The presentation will focus on providing an overview of the activity addressing the points below: • The specific issue being addressed o Consistency of review approach o Delivery of results to customers o Increasing the value of past data o Improving the availability and use of future data o Mapping options that are now available with results • Approach developed to address this issue. o Use of artificial intelligence to identify and classify defects. o Move away from the requirement for project managers and engineers to review hours of footage and use targeted frames to complete quality audits and develop repair programs. o Opportunity to hand over inspection footage, reports, and data using an online platform that removes the requirement of bulky local storage • Summary of activities and their implementation. o Presentation to look further into the platform and the outputs that clients receive to make asset management decisions about their pipe networks.
