| Abstract: | The IPWEA Study tour was three weeks in duration in which the tour group visited four countries, eleven cities, nine councils and undertook numerous technical tours with consultants. The theme of the study tour was „Best Practice and Sustainability‟ in public works. The group investigated a variety of topics, including waste management, town planning, water pumping stations and reclamation plants, green initiatives, transportation plans, development incentives, placemaking and the American Public Works Association Congress and Exhibition. |
