dc.description.abstractCr Scott has been an integral member of the local business community for more than 20 years including owning and operating his own successful Consulting Engineering business and is now the manager of Calibre Consulting. Cr Scott has an impressive list of achievements including chairing some of the Communities largest and most exciting organisations and projects. These include Capricorn Enterprise, the Capricorn Local Marine Advisory Committee, Livingstone's Waterpark Cree Environmental Reference Group, Livingstone's Causeway Lake restoration, CapReef and Emu Park RSL's Centenary of Anzacs Project. Cr Scott wants to see high priority given to the Capricorn Coast's foreshore, including the extension of Yeppoon's beachfront precinct, Emu Park Township and the Causeway Lake restoration. Cr Scott has vision and commitment in his role as Councillor for Livingstone Shire Council. He is actively involved and works with Councillors and the Community to get things done. He strongly believes that the region needs to maintain and enhance its strengths as a commercial centre with excellent health, education, retail and recreation advantages.en_US
