Since its introduction in 2014, the ISO55000 series standards have increased in prominence across industries. This is partly driven by peak and industry bodies educating and generating interest among its members of the relevance and importance of these standards and partly driven by individual organisations driving towards a best-practice asset management approach. With the increase in prominence comes the questions of why and how an organisation should align with the ISO55000 series standards. This session will focus on the benefits of aligning with the ISO 55000 series standards and discuss some of the practical considerations in implementing an ISO55000 aligned Asset Management System.en_US
