Abstract: | What has been your biggest challenge this past week and/or currently? How has your organisation responded to the closure of recreational facilities? What facilities have you closed? How did you close them and what are the potential longer term impacts? How is your organisation addressing workforce management to maintain critical services, particularly the front line workforce? What provisions have you made for staff with decreased workloads? Are you dealing with any supply chain or other procurement issues eg availability of specialist contractors, PPE or other materials? What do we need to communicate to industry in terms of our needs? The Australian and State governments have made it clear that the public works sector will play a critical role in rebuilding the economy and providing employment but are current construction projects being threatened? What does your organisation need to ensure we are able to ramp up construction if/when further funding for infrastructure is announced,? IPWEAQ is developing a series of Instructional Sheets. The first Draft of Civil Work Crews - Vehicles is attached for discussion. Please also develop ideas for other Instructional Sheets. |
