Authors: It
Abstract: ITS Pipe Tech was engaged by Sydney Trains to repair a 27 metre long brick arch culvert. The need for remediation for this culvert was due to the brick arch that was starting to crack and displace bricks which posed a risk of collapse. The major challenges faced by this project was lining through a significant 30 degree bend and also the limited access to the outlet of the culvert. The significant feature that makes this particular project stand out from any regular culvert is the unique arch shape.

Authors: ITS Pipetech
Abstract: ITS PipeTech offers the German made Berolina UV cured Liner System, for the rehabilitation of non-pressure pipelines. The Berolina-Liner System utilises corrosion resistant glass fibre together with UV-light initiated polyester resins to provide optimum reinforcement. The fibre reinforcement in combination with the resin creates a liner with a high performance that is able to withstand aggressive sewer environments. McConnell Dowell, in conjunction with Gold Coast Council, engaged ITS for the relining of existing sewer mains running beneath the rail track for The Gold Coast Rapid Transit project. The Gold Coast Rapid Transit project is a light rail transport system recently delivered by the Queensland State Government, Australian Government and the Gold Coast City Council. Gold Coast Council were concerned for the longevity of the existing sewer assets, faced with additional loadings the rail infrastructure would introduce. The decision was made to line the existing pipes, to increase design life and serviceability

Authors: ITS Pipetech
Abstract: This project involved the upsizing of the existing sewer network within the community of Blackheath using pipe bursting techniques. The objective of the project was to replace the sewer lines with upsized pipes to alleviate flow problems as a result of the increasing population and sub division within the area.
